TIDE Block¶

Remove TIDE.num_channels and TIDE.num_chunks?

Add a META Block¶

For Dublin Core-style meta data. Things like author, creation time, copyright, etc. of the whole file cannot be stored currently.

Add a block for Meta-data to CHNK entries¶

This is a rather invasive change, but in many recording/replay scenarios, framework meta-data (e.g. additional timing information, transport-related information, identity information) has to be included in entries. However, including this information in the binary blobs of entries prevents interoperability, even if the actual payloads would have been usable in different frameworks.
