Data Recording

Background

  • RETF produced three draft specs for data recording
    1. A "simple" one
    2. An EBML-base one
    3. A HDF5-based one
  • Ingo has an almost complete C++ reference implementation of 1
    • Will be available on GitHub in a matter of days

Integration with RSB

  • A stand-alone tool will be developed in a separate project
    • Will use Ingo's library for storage
    • Will use RSB for data retrieval and transport (obviously)
  • Development should start as quickly as possible
