Notification of Client-Code upon Errors

  • What happens if non-fatal errors occur, e.g., serialization errors?
  • Asynchronous notifications to the client code?
  • Default error handler installed at participants, can be overridden by user
  • Check other framework solutions on that particular problem (Ice, ROS, ...)
  • Recovery options should/must be exposed to the client code!?
